German trio Bullmeister are one of those bands that it’s hard not to watch with a smile on your face; an energetic outfit with life-affirming electro-pop their modus operandi. Berlin boys Daniboi, sovaldi sale Sam & Costa channel the best bits of bands like Phoenix, this site Goose and Fenech-Soler and combine it with their fiery Teutonic attitude to create a sound that’s full of big hooks and riffs, medicine pummelling dance beats and vocals that are swooning and fierce by turns. They are testament to how far electronic pop music has come in recent years. Their gigs never fail to live up to their spunky sound, a riot of flashing LEDs, Jägermeister and Daniboi’s style on the mic is nothing but commanding. It’s no coincidence that the house masters Tiefschwarz roped him in to sing two tracks on their latest album Chocolate.
