Say what you want about Britney but Toxic was a great pop song. Rise & Fool does a great job with their cover as well. I regret listening to it on my laptop as I can tell it needs a sub to do it justice.
Thief was born when Sydney artist PJ Wolf traded in his guitars for synthesizers. Thief’s early demos found their way on to the internet and within weeks the blogosphere was alight with talk of this new Australian pop talent. Since his emergence as Thief, PJ has crafted a fresh minimalist sound rivalling the likes of contemporaries such as Metronomy, Miike Snow and Frank Ocean.
While going through emails for this post I heard a snap and looked down and saw that my MacBook’s track pad had cracked. I forgot these things were made of glass and have never seen this before. At least it’s still working, I guess.

All of us here in central Oklahoma woke up to a snow day today. I’m getting ready to let the cats run around outside and film them for an awesome cat video on youtube. Actually, I’m not. I’m just going to sit inside next to the fireplace and play some games on the Xbox One.
I’m sitting here waiting for the sky to open up and dump snow all over central Oklahoma and listening to this song. If I was at home then I’d be petting cats and sitting next to a warm fire… still while listening to this song. Probably drinking some hot tea too. I haven’t fully planned out my fake home adventure yet.
