Ayokay’s new release is a fresh single called, “Swing Swing.” It gives off a scenic nighttime drive-vibe that’s rare to come by. Listen closely and you’ll hear the subtle bass line that runs underneath everything else, it’s my personal favorite aspect. I think you’ll dig this one.
Chuckie Campbell’s remix of “Synesthesia” is a gem. Of course the rapper Talib Kweli plays a huge role with his direct style of flow and some very interesting lyrical work. But I love the uplifting chord progression behind everything and Chuckie’s sampling of the original song. Get into it right here.
“Roots” is the latest single by Muza & David Schoenwetter. If you’re into genre bending music, look no further. I love how many styles are incorporated on here. There’s a little bit of everything, held down with a heavy hip-hop influence and lush production to tie it together. Peep, “Roots” right here and we’re looking forward […]
Malvae’s “How It Hurts” is a complete banger. It features the artist Esther Veen and together these two have tapped a mad, unique sound. This would surely throw down in a club but it’s great for chill listening as well. So what are you waiting for? Get into the new Malvae song “How It Hurts” and you […]
“Like Heaven” is a new song from New York’s breakout pop act, Zolita. Her music videos have absolutely blown up on youtube bringing in a ton of new fans. And the new single is the second release off of the artist’s imminent, ‘Sappho EP.’ So if you like what you hear be on the lookout […]
Canadian hip-hop artist, Kachinga dropped a new album not too long ago that I want to share. After my first listen through ‘Sky Falling’ I see myself coming back to it for a second pass very soon. A wide variety of styles and samples are brought into Kachinga’s sound but each track has a […]
Denver based duo Phiilo really tossed themselves on the map with this epic fairly recent flip of Whethan and his single “Be Like You” with Broods. The funky bootleg features some of the up and comings groups self-titled signature sounds: electric guitar riffs, (generally) funky vibes, and even recordings of our friend playing the trombone. […]
Here is a new future-pop song to get into by the artist, Ava King. She travels back and forth between LA and Beijing, getting her song writing in whenever she can. I think this likely adds to the diversity and uniqueness of her sound. “I Don’t Wanna Have Sex” has a light-hearted club beat as Ava […]
“No Drama” by Sean Turk is my favorite find this week. This future bass artist melds future r&b with future bass and I’m all about it.
