Ayokay’s new release is a fresh single called, “Swing Swing.” It gives off a scenic nighttime drive-vibe that’s rare to come by. Listen closely and you’ll hear the subtle bass line that runs underneath everything else, it’s my personal favorite aspect. I think you’ll dig this one.
The brass section on “Lady of the Night” is warm as it is captivating, and that’s what’s so captivating about DUX’s latest drop. The record went viral on Facebook a couple months back and now it’s all over the interwebs. The L.A. based acts Sarita EP is out now, give it a spin here: WEBSITE. […]
Chuckie Campbell’s remix of “Synesthesia” is a gem. Of course the rapper Talib Kweli plays a huge role with his direct style of flow and some very interesting lyrical work. But I love the uplifting chord progression behind everything and Chuckie’s sampling of the original song. Get into it right here.
I’m really digging this recent drop by the Los Angeles hip-hop act, Carter Reeves. Multi-talented, Reeves is showing a lot of promise as one of those artists who can tap into the pop, hip-hop and indie rock/jam scenes simultaneously. You really just gotta listen to the new single “Pay Day” for yourself to see what […]
Kodiak Soul has crafted a breathtaking piece of musical workmanship with his latest “The Lives We Choose” EP. In an music scene dominated by in-your-face, crazy dance music, Kodiak Soul delivers a breath of fresh air with the immaculately created soundscapes on this EP. Gentle piano melodies, subtle synths, and blissful vocal chops all create […]
The new release by The Russ Liquid Test is absolutely massive. It is top-notch electronic dance, toeing the line perfectly between funky dubstep and that og raw dubstep sound. To finish it off, the overall mix is super crisp and crunchy tying it all together. Words just don’t do, “Fanghorn” justice, so wait no longer […]
The new single by Hoang “Don’t Say” is stunning. The main vocals are a standout part of the song right from the start. It begins like a pop song but before you know it this builds into a dance ready electronic hit. The synth melody in the chorus is what really tops off “Don’t Say” […]
I’m really digging this unique sound by a new group on my radar, “Future Love Hangover.” It’s dance music at heart, with dope filter drop-outs and all. But it also has this almost hypnotic ambient-pop feel to it that just sucks you in, largely thanks to the vocals and strange background samples. The song’s video […]
“Come Along” is a new single from New York City’s alt rock artist, Les Techno. With blues-y harmonica to kick it off, an edgy guitar and a raw, 80’s infused beat build it up into a crazy sound. This is a definite old school party-rock vibe that’d I’d love to hear thrown down live. Just […]
