“Bad 4 U” is a buttery smooth pop track by the rising star Imad Royal. The Washington D.C. based singer songwriter teased us with this one on his recent mini tour with Skizzy Mars, leaving fans hungry to get their ears on it. I’m stoked to say it’s finally here. Press that play button and let these summer feels hit.
It’s another Wednesday, which happens to be my favorite day of the week. We’re also coming up on my 2nd favorite holiday of the year – Independence Day! There’s nothing wrong with celebrating our country’s freedom by blowing stuff up and drinking cheap beers!
I’ve gathered a nice collection of tracks that will help you get through the summer heat of this day, as it is working for me right now
My heart pretty much melts anytime I hear anything from The Rolling Stones. Memories tend to instantly flood my mind of chilling as a child with my family. Which is why it’s amazing to see the rising indie dance act, argonaut&wasp, creating their own fresh take on the track. The leave the chorus pretty much untouched by let things fly with their spot on synth sessions in between. Definitely check this one out.
“Frustrated” is the latest track to be released from the rising R&B star R.LUM.R out of Nashville. This guy has been putting out consistently great stuff over the past year and his latest song is no different. In fact, I’d even say it’s his best work yet. Check it out.
Kaixen and MRKI just dropped this fresh R&B track with an electronic influence titled “Stuck.” MRKI is a rising female vocalist out of Miami who’s been pumping out soulful tunes over the past 5 months with Kaixen’s help. If you’re into female vocalists definitely check this one out.
Holly Winter teamed up with SNBRN to create an irresistible sound. The production is as on-point as can be and Holly Winter’s vocals top it off for an excellent track. I think you guys are really going to dig this one.
This left field pop tune by the electronic musicians MRGD and SAKIMA just dropped today titled “Skin Deep.” With powerful female vocals from MRGD and vibing, forward thinking production from SAKIMA, the tune’s an excellent addition to any pop music junky’s library. The duo says they have a lot of work in store for the future together; we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
Spring isn’t over yet and the summer jam has already been released. You’ll find this on repeat everywhere I go this summer and I can’t wait to hear more from RONNE soon!
Electronic music fans come one come all, I bring to you Dream Beach , a rising electronic act hailing from Detroit, Michigan. His new single “Spill Your Guts” is wonderful and guides us on an audible journey with intricate sound design and forward thinking songwriting. Enjoy!
