Toxic relationships are likely more relevant now more than ever thanks to the pandemic and generally what is going on in society the past couple years. So when I heard Chaz Cardigan’s new single “We Look So Good” and the ironic message it brought up conceptually, comparing the United States and some of the incomprehensible things this country has done over the years to a confusing (at minimum) connection I was blown away. Not only is the message deep but Chaz’ easy to listen to voice of glamorously styled indie pop makes it all the more package-able. “We Look So Good” is something special, on a few different levels.
