Dog – Monster (Deluxe)

Indie rapper/singer Dog follows up the release of his debut album ”Monster” with a deluxe edition that includes a few unreleased tracks. One of those is ”Burnt Down Farmhouse,” a really strong cut that somehow balances polar opposite aggressive and chilled out energies. Dog really shows off his talent as a rapper on this one. Another stand-out is ”Sleep Talking,” an emo-leaning song where Dog sings about his personal issues in a spaced-out, ethereal way. It really hits home.
