Manila Killa is back with a sun-soaked track worthy of your summer playlist. “Youth” is a celebratory expression of the carefree feeling of being young and limitless. It’s got all the melodic synthwork you’d expect from Manila, plus the smooth vocals of Satica. To top it off, it’s catchy as hell, chilled, and beautiful. Check it out here and keep up with Manila Killa on Soundcloud.
This left field pop tune by the electronic musicians MRGD and SAKIMA just dropped today titled “Skin Deep.” With powerful female vocals from MRGD and vibing, forward thinking production from SAKIMA, the tune’s an excellent addition to any pop music junky’s library. The duo says they have a lot of work in store for the future together; we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
“Miles Away” is the latest greatest from the up-and-coming pop house artist, Paul Mayson. The rhythmic keys will hook you in right off the bat, building on a classic house progression that doesn’t disappoint. Mayson seems to be refining his house sound with every new release, I’ll be on the lookout to see where he takes it.
This guy Ronzel has been on my radar for a while, pumping out quality electronic remixes and originals. I’ve heard that there are some big things in store for this artist and I recommend you keep an eye out. In the meantime peep this remix of a song we all know and love, 2Pac’s “Changes.”
The rising electronic artists Josh Jacobson and Samuel Proffitt recently combined their talents to drop this sentimental, slow song called “Andre.” Sensual vocals and pensive percussion make this one just right for a quiet night in. If you’re looking a smooth and soulful track, definitely throw this one on.
Man, I really am enjoying this fresh dance act Matroda. His new track “Flow” is grooving and perfect for a dance floor. You know drill, hit play.
Wheathin grabbed my attention a few months back with an awesomely catchy remix of Opia’s “Fallin.” This made me look back on his catalogue of remixes. What I found was a goldmine of energetic electronic music. It’s pretty impressive, considering he’s only 17.
Wheathin is the alias of Chicago’s Ethan Snoreck, a name you should become familiar with if you’re not already. He’s received a lot of praise from artists and blogs alike for his massive mixes of “Blase,” “Suicide,” and “City Of The Rose” just to name a few.
The Brighton based EDM production duo, South Central, just put out a huge new tune titled “For Lovers Not Haters” that’s sure to knock your ears off. Delivering a refreshing breath of air to the EDM world, South Central new track offers high energy drops that are sure to be making hearts race in raves across the country. If you dig what you hear I’ve included a highly hyphy remix by a producer called Apocalypto out of Melbourne. Check them out.
Connecting with Mylen was a great choice for Biggie Smiles on “We Wanted Love,” his vocals take this song to the next level. The L.A. group hasn’t quite made a name for themselves but if they keep releasing songs as head turning and feel good as this one, they’re bound to take off! Keep Biggie Smiles on your map, you won’t regret it.
