Massappeals is the artist and “Casio Nova” is his new EP that’s turning heads, and for good reason. The production level is off the charts with a toned down pop electronic/future-beat sound. The rhythms used are funky goodness with choice percussion samples and stellar synth design are standout features all around. And definitley peep “No Lies”, it’s got a vocal part that you don’t want to miss.
I ‘m super impressed with this new MisterWives song. They’ve been parceling out songs from their new album, ‘Connect The Dots’ for a minute, you might have seen their single, “Machines” which garnered coverage from the likes of Nylon and MTV. But “Coloring Outside The Lines” is my favorite one yet, check it out.
Oliver Tree, who we’ve seen before on some of the dopest Getter and Whethan tracks, has finally put out two new originals of his own. Both show very unique sides to this multi-talented individual. Check them out!
“Blind” by Huko is incredible. This song incorporates the whole spectrum of emotions and is really invigorating. We absolutely love how they’re able to tell stories through sound. Turn up the volume and enjoy.
This music video for Toggo Ultrarock’s “Cannonball” is an interesting watch and super well shot. Anime fans out there will love the video’s theme, transition scenes through the images is a cool creative choice. We’re excited to hear more of Toggo’s electronic rock style and hopefully see some more of his quirky personality in new videos. Check it out!
Holy. This tune was sent to me earlier this week and it’s gorgeous. Here’s what the artist has to say:
Pretty Sister’s flip of “Free Fall” might be our favorite remix by the electronic outfit yet. SIRMA’s pop style and floaty chilled-out voice are a rock solid foundation for Pretty Sister to work off of. But you just have to listen for yourself and you’ll see what I’m talking about. This find is a real treat.
Damn, I did not see this new track from Whethan coming. It’s literally perfect. His vocalist, Charlie XCX slays the beat and delivers a euphoric feeling that’s indescribable. Head over to their respective SoundClouds for more.
Agency’s new song “Desire” caught my attention the other night. It takes a minute to get into things, but once the track warms up, it flows with a unique sound. Reminding me of a more organic FKA twigs, the vocals are on point and there’s a lot of cool subtle elements to get into. So dive in and check out the stream for “Desire” below.
