I remember sitting in my apt in late 2005, here browsing through new releases on the iTunes Music Store and coming across an album that caught my eye. It could have been from the fuschia lines and hard to read title but for some reason I decided to buy it without listening to it. This album was Nite Versions. The beginnings of Bloghouse were starting, slowly with groups like Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, Tiga, and soon to be Justice. Electroclash was over with and indie rock bands were filling the gap with keyboard fueled dance rock songs. Little did any of us know that in about a year and a half that we’d be raging to actual dance music again very soon and kids would be picking out turntables for christmas instead of guitars.

My drinking buddy, PrototypeRaptor just surprised us with this new bootleg. It pays a great homage to the super influential group that us older kids know so well.
