Simon XO is a super new, up and coming artist we’ve been introduced to. We were impressed by the two leading singles, immediately the vibe of “Waiting For Me To Break” especially caught our attention. The percussion is way groovy, filled with unique samples but woven all together into a smooth blend of diverse sounds. It almost pulls from too many genres to pin down, like rhythms reminiscent of world music, a touch of retro 80’s in the bass and of course the crisp modern vocals… we could go on.
