1. Skrillex is a great discovery to happen upon and many thanks for his enthusiastic indie approach to making and releasing music! Would LOVE to see more filthy electro bangers pop up this summer!

Skrillex is the perfect blend of Flithy grimestep base and feeling, almost in the league of DatsiK and Excision, and the newer electrostep wobbles and beats with just the right amount of ‘out of no-where’ hectic grime drops and wickedly synthed sounds. anyone who has the ability to make a GOOD step song with this much thought and structure deserves all the props he is getting from everyone. and for those of you who don’t like his beats, i urge you to PROPERLY listen to something like “Hey Sexy Lady”, turn the lights off, roll a fat j, turn up the subs and listen to something that will change your perception of music forever. THIS IS THE FUTURE OF MUSIC.

14. wtfwtf – some of the tracks are certainly dubstep”ish”. Don’t believe me? I can define dubstep quite easily.

    It goes something like this: “uhntz uhntz womp womp wompity honk honk {insert drop}”

    And for the record guys, Deadmau5 and any other musician that talks shit about DJs doesn’t deserve to ever sell a record.

18. Guys, no need for nastiness, this guy is very technically gifted, good ear for sound, hit and miss on the tracks but i hear live this dude rocks out like you wouldn’t believe.
    some of the tunes are very Dub-Step orientated but he also uses the electro thing really well too,

They should learn to like Skrillex but most of those people are idiots and don’t have cool taste in music. 38. Let’s get this straight. Skrillex has some songs that can be considered dubstep,but he isn’t a dubstep artist coz he’s mixing genres and not having the dubstep structure in most of em. Second,his production is pretty good,but will never ever exceed Reso’s production. Never. And imo,i think he’s pretty overrated. Not that good. Also i’ve heard that he has a ghost producer behind his tracks.

43. hello skrillex, you probably wont read this, but i just want to give you an “idea” of a new track. im on a mission to be an aspiring house “musician”. i went to your concert in charlotte, nc. and i was changed.. see my idea was sort of like a “fairy tale” in words to say, anyway, it would be like ‘all i ask of you” but alittle more fantasized. and get get someone to sing about like this dream world, but then the girl is like “but life isnt a fairy tale…” then the drop would be like so explosive the viewer would crap their pants. then just rise and fall from there… so theres my idea, thank you for your life changing music, and again i really hope (if you read this) to tale this idea into consideration. hope to here new amazin music soon
